Day 1: devour and transfer for Murchison Falls park

Depending on your location in Kampala, you’ll be picked up and transferred to Murchison Falls National Park-Uganda’s largest park. The park could be a habitat for giant 4 games including elephants, buffaloes, lions, and leopards. However, you will have a stopover for about 2 to 3 hours at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for Rhino trekking. Have lunch then proceed to the house of the magnificent falls, adding you 2 more hours to reach the park. Upon arrival at the park late afternoon, connect with your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Day 2: Game drive and launch cruise at the lower point of the falls

After an early breakfast at the lodge, you’ll choose a morning game drive on the Northern bank of the park. The activity takes about 3-5 hours and is ready to view all kinds of wildlife that may include; African savannah elephants, Rothschild giraffes, cape buffaloes, lions, Jackson Hartebeest, Uganda kobs, Oribis, and waterbucks Among others. After the drive, you’ll return to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, go for a launch cruise on the Nile with an exciting panoramic view at the bottom of the mighty Murchison falls. Along the cruise, you will encounter crocodiles, hippos, and birds on the river banks like kingfishers, cormorants, and bee-eater.
After viewing the falls at the bottom, you’ll have an optional hike to the top of falls through Bakers trail and even be able to stand at bakers stone -bringing you closer to the bottom of the falls, this hike is a bit tuff but it’s fascinating as you will enjoy seeing the falls at different points and finally once you reach the highest of the falls, you’ll be amazed and eventually ignore the tuff hike. After spending a great time at the top of the falls, you’ll meet your driver who will transfer you back to your lodge.

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale park
Depart Murchison early after breakfast and transfer to Kibale forest park, it’s a full day hours’ drive to Fort portal with the way lunch. Kibale Forest park is the best chimpanzee trekking tour— best safari destinations in Africa with 13 species of primate where chimpanzees are the foremost visited. reach the lodge late afternoon and unwind, have dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Chimpanzee tracking and nature walk.

Have early breakfast and transfer to the park head office for an early morning briefing about the endangered chimpanzees and later enter the forest with the guidance of a park ranger alongside your tracking gears, packed water, and snacks. This tracking takes about 2-5 hours in search of the chimpanzees. On finding the primates, you’ll spend 1 hour with the creatures while studying their behavior and taking pictures. After chimp trekking, you will return to the lodge for lunch and refresh.
Later afternoon, connect for nature enter Bigodi wetland, where you’ll get to enjoy walking through a wetland with a spread of bird species. Later in the evening return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight at as above

Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi via Queen Elizabeth park

After breakfast, meet your driver to depart for Bwindi, you’ll first connect for a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth Park in search of the tree-climbing Proceed to Bwindi arriving late afternoon at the lodge where you’ll check-in, have dinner, and spend an evening.

Day 6: Gorilla Trekking experience.

You will enjoy early morning breakfast and transfer to the park headquarters together with your packed lunch and bottled beverage for a briefing by the park ranger guides at 7:00 am. After the briefing, you’ll start your gorilla trekking journey amid the ranger guides in search of the mountain gorillas; this takes 2 to eight hours counting on the movement of On finding them, you’ll spend 1 hour with these gentle giants.
Return to the start line where you’ll find your driver waiting to require you back to the lodge. Dinner and overnight occupy lodge as above.

Day 7: All day at Lake Bunyonyi.

Wake up early, have breakfast, and hook up with Lake Bunyonyi in Kabale district. this is often a 2 hours drive. reach Bunyonyi early and with great scenic views of surrounding hills. This lake located between Kisoro and Kabale within southwestern Uganda on the brink of the border with Rwanda. It’s believed to be the second deepest lake in Africa with a depth between 44m and 900m deep and it’s about 7 to 25kms wide.
On arrival at the lake, have lunch then take a ship trip to a number of the fascinating islands on the lake for example the kyahugye island where you’ll find some wildlife including the Zebras, waterbucks, impalas and Visit Akampeine island-a punishment island where the pregnant unmarried girls were dumped to die and eventually the Bwama and Njuyeera Island-where missionary Dr.Leonard Sharp established a leper colony. Day 8: Drive your way back to Kampala.
After early morning breakfast, you’ll depart the lodge and head back to Kampala, 7-8 hours drive with on the way lunch in Mbarara. Arrive in Kampala late afternoon and if you’ve got an ongoing flight, you’ll proceed to Entebbe airport.
